Our exhibitions tell the story of the people and landscapes of Harris and the Western Isles \u2014 from the geology that shaped the islands, to the first settlers, the community of St Kilda, and the long history of emigration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the exhibition, our Sgeulachdan<\/a><\/strong> section shares features on villages, families and island life. In Fiosrachadh<\/a><\/strong>, you\u2019ll find learning materials, images, audio recordings from across the Western Isles, and family charts for the people of St Kilda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also host weekly talks<\/strong> on Hebridean ancestry, Gaelic language and Harris Tweed weaving, running from April to October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
